The Outvertising Role Model Training is an interactive session designed to help you become a better role model AND to empower you to teach others to do the same. While we are coming at it from an LGBTQ+ angle, the session applies to all.
The session has been developed from our own, everyday experiences, as well as learnings taken from the training we have had access to. We’re always keen to hear from people on the day and make sure everyone feels comfortable to be open and honest in sharing their thoughts and experiences.
Aims:
To equip you with the knowledge, confidence & skills to be role models
To empower you to stay true to your values and be brave!
To promote LGBTQ+ equality
To build ally support and awareness
To create a safe space for all to be comfortable as their authentic selves
