Chris Dunne (he/him)

Ceri Parkes-Brincat (she//her)
Chief Operations Officer
Chris is Head of Marketing at Thinkbox, the marketing body for TV advertising in the UK. He’s spent the last 20 years in advertising, media and marketing across radio, TV, print and digital. Named in The Media Leader’s Future 100 Club in 2022, Chris also sits on the IPA’s Effectiveness Leadership Board. He is a Mental Health First Aider and a passionate advocate for improved mental health awareness and training in the workplace.
Ceri is a former COO with a background in tech, with extensive experience in streamlining processes, driving impactful change, and optimising operations. As a qualified coach, she enjoys helping teams and individuals reach their full potential, fostering growth, and bringing a practical, energetic approach to every initiative.

Cassius Naylor

Advocacy Co-Director
Cassius is an independent work culture and change management consultant, strategy advisor and writer. His career has spanned journalism and publishing, communications, project management, enterprise technology and DEI, latterly at the Financial Times where he was global communications coordinator and led the organisation's award-winning LGBTQ+ employee network Proud FT.
He served on the steering committee of Intermedia UK in this capacity, and has advised media, advertising and technology sector decision-makers on LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace throughout. He has been working with Outvertising in various capacities since 2018, including having helped launch the second edition of the Outvertising Guide in 2019.

Lucy is a creative brand strategist who's worked on both sides of the client-agency fence, across sectors and scales. She relishes helping the people behind brands and agencies with brand & creative strategy to connect with audiences in credible, authentic ways that make a positive impact.

Daniel Sinclair (he/him)
Commercial Co-Director
As an Advertising Sales Manager at WeTransfer, Daniel collaborates with brands and agencies to deliver outstanding digital campaigns. He has a wealth of experience in various roles within the advertising world that require a commercial mindset. He’s also had the pleasure of being a mentor through the Outvertising mentorship scheme and has a passion for all things automotive in his spare time.
Luke Millican (he/him)
Commercial Co-Director
Luke has been an agency side digital leader at Dentsu and GroupM. He is now a Client Partner at Meta where he works with FMCG business across EMEA. He’s passionate about developing future generations of LGBTQIA+ talent in the industry and spends time mentoring and supporting their development.
COMMUNICATIONS
Anthony Leeds (he/him)
Communications Co-Director
Anthony is Senior Comms Director at Propeller Group, a PR agency working predominantly with media, marketing, advertising and tech businesses. He leads the PR programmes for a number of leading creative and media businesses. He is also the pro bono comms lead for Brixton Finishing School, having helped the founder Ally Owen grow her and BFS’s profile over the last few years.
In a previous life, Anthony has worked in FMCG comms for brands like Nestle, Cholula and Tyrell’s, as well as a doing a brief stint in healthcare comms.
Sonnie Spenser (they/them)
Communications Co-Director
Sonnie is a digital marketer and project manager for the day job, and Director of Outreach for Trans+ History Week for the gay job (alongside this role!) They are a self described intersectional feminist killjoy and continually on a mission to improve inclusivity. Sonnie is big on consistency, process, and bigger-picture thinking.

Dane Kaagman (he/him)
Community Co-Director
Dane born with cerebral palsy is an SEO/CX Director with over a decade of experience in performance marketing, working at three top agencies across some of the world's most recognisable brands. He has a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their desired career goals while being their most authentic selves as he knows having a diverse team with a unique blend of talent, creativeness, experience and backgrounds is the best performing.
CREATIVE
Tash Beecher (she/her)
Creative Co-Director
Tash is a creative director who has been in the creative comms industry as a writer, radio presenter and marketeer for almost two decades.
Known for her tenacious drive for great, award-winning work that’s equally great for humankind, she has spent time crafting concepts and multi-channel campaigns at some of the best health advertising agencies in the world. With experience across health, pharma, charity and consumer, she champions inclusive advertising in all forms, and has judged countless global awards.
Marc Allenby (he/him)
Creative Co-Director
Proudly queer, Marc has always driven the diversity narrative forward through creativity. Marc is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Hijinks, the UKs first female and queer owned advertising agency. Throughout his career, he has shaped and evolved some of the world's best-loved brands at some of the most respected creative agencies in the world. Marc intends to give a platform to talent from all walks of life, he guest lectures at Leeds Arts University and is an Outvertising mentor.

Kat Marshall (she/her)
Events Co-Director
Kat is an events and marketing professional in Brighton and Hove with a decade of experience in diversity-driven marketing, PR, and advertising. She has curated events for brands like Channel 4, JP Morgan, Getty Images, and Meta. In addition to her day job, Kat collaborates with Pride Edinburgh and Monumental Marketing, showcasing her dedication to inclusive and impactful marketing initiatives.

David Clasen (he/him)
Finance Co-Director
After twenty-five years working as an M&A specialist for bulge bracket and boutique investment banks, David joined the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising as Finance Director in 2018. He is a part-time singer and, in that capacity, has made ads for brands in the drinks, food, and training sectors (all of which he has a passion for).
Ceri is a former Chief Operations Officer with more than two decades of experience in business operations and technology with a strong track record of building numerous high-performing teams. Her passion for empowering individuals has led her to transition into a role as a Professional Coach, dedicated to helping people unlock their full potential and become the best versions of themselves.
INTELLIGENCE
Dr Rodney Collins (he/him)
Intelligence Co-Director
Dr. Rodney Collins is the Global Head of Human Sciences at McCann Worldgroup. As a professional anthropologist, Rodney believes in the urgency of culture to drive meaningful action, whether that is in a protest march or a board room. He is committed to partnering with leaders to architect models for cultural and social change.
Andrew Tindall (he/him)
Co-Deputy Director
Andrew champions modern marketing effectiveness in a practical way. Responsible for System1’s thought leadership and global agency partnerships, he combines data with System1’s ad database to create publications exploring emotion and creativity’s role in effectiveness across the media mix. Ex-Diageo and Bacardi, his goals is to make effectiveness for all. Which are key themes in his columns and LinkedIn content.
Russie Miessi (they/them)
Co-Deputy Director
Russie Miessi is a D&AD Shift alumni of the Class of 2019 and has been an advertising trustee at D&AD. They work full-time as a strategist within the Social Media advertising agency Born Social. Over the past few years, Russie has been a co-founder of the collective Fax No Printer, which is a collective that centres Jr's voices within Adland. They're also proactive in contributing to QTIPOC spaces as they run Emo-Pop Punk Queer, Trans, or Intersex, people of Colour centred events night called NOT OK based in London.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Jonathan Palmer (he/him)
Learning & Development Co-Director
Jonathan is a media specialist having worked with some of the biggest brands and film studios in the world over his 20+ years in the industry. He is also proud to be part of the timeTo steering committee, raising awareness and looking to stop sexual harassment in the workplace. Jonathan was the original co-chair for Dentsu International's first-ever LGBTQ+ network, &Proud, and helped get them into the Stonewall Top 100 in 2019.
Katrina Urban (she/her)
Learning & Development Co-Director
Kat is Head of Learning & Development at NABS, the industry support organisation. She is an outspoken ally who is passionate about driving meaningful change. Away from work, she is a mother, carer, cat lover and gin collector. WACL Future Leader Award winner 2022.
