With the largest panel of judges the Outvertising Awards have ever seen, we are excited to have ten industry and diversity experts join our ranks. Reviewing campaigns and concepts from some of the best names in the industry, our judges certainly have their work cut out for this years awards.
Natasher Beecher
Associate Creative Director at Health, CD of Copy - We are Pocc
Natasher Beecher is a conceptual copywriter, story elevator and creative director, recognised as both a Campaign x Creative Equals Future Leader One to Watch and a Pitch 100 Superwoman. Her expertise in delivering concepts and seeing them through to execution led her to judging the D&AD Writing for Advertising 2019 category.
With multiple careers over the last 13 years as an editor, radio presenter, model and fashion blogger, she’s currently at Ogilvy Health leading creative copy across multiple global accounts. In her free time Tash is part of Pocc, a theatre critic for Afridiziak Theatre News and a scriptwriter. She lives in West London with her wife and their dog Brodie.
Rachel Reese
Global Butterflies
Rachel is founder of Global Butterflies, a company that is extremely successful in helping businesses to create trans & non-binary inclusive environments.
She is Vice Chair of The Law Society LGBT Lawyers Division Committee representing trans & non-binary solicitors working within the legal profession and is a trans & non-binary ambassador for Aspiring Solicitors. Rachel is a GiveOut.Org Trustee, a charity that funds LGBT+ causes worldwide. She also judges the People in Law awards each year. She was nominated for the European Diversity Award’s, Coca-Cola Hero of the Year Award. In 2019, she co-wrote the Lloyds of London Trans & Non-binary inclusion guide.
Pete Markey
Chief Marketing Officer, TSB
Pete Markey is Chief Marketing Officer for TSB where he is responsible for brand, marketing, communications and strategy across the UK business covering the full breadth and depth of TSB’s product and service offering.
He has been awarded four prestigious Marketer of the Year awards including the Financial Services Forum, Marketing Society, DRUM and MI Awards. In 2009, he completed a 2-year MBA with Distinction at Ashridge Business School. In 2010, he was made a Fellow of the Marketing Society, and in 2017 he was made a Fellow of the CIM.
Stephanie Matthews
Partnerships Director,
Creative Equals
Stephanie Matthews is Partnerships Director for Creative Equals, a global not for profit championing inclusion & diversity in the creative sector.
She’s responsible for aligning with industry partners who support a shared vision of business growth driven by inclusion. She’s also the programme lead on Creative Comeback NYC, an industry returners initiative that provides a bridge back to work for those who’ve left due to children, illness, stress or caring responsibilities.
Stephen Woodford
CEO of the Advertising Association
Prior joining as CEO of the AA in September 2016, Stephen held management roles in three agencies (Leo Burnett, WCRS/Engine and DB/adam&eveDDB). He also currently chairs youth marketing agency Livity, a social purpose-driven business that seeks to transform young peoples’ lives, especially from BAME backgrounds. He is a founder and director of U, a digital challenger to conventional banks.
Stephen is a past President of NABS and serves on the board of the History of Advertising Trust.
Jason Armstrong
Head of Talent for Cult LDN+NYC
A passionate advocate of diversity, inclusion, nurturing talent, strategic career building and encouraging people to embrace the unknown, Jason has expertise of in-agency and in-house brand roles, recruiting across multiple disciplines and specialisms.
To continue Cult’s constant evolution of self, in 2020 Jason has formed partnerships with BAME Recruitment, Diversity Standards Collective and Do More with a purview to becoming a staunch advocate for diversity and inclusivity in our industry.
Guy Black
Deputy Chairman of the Telegraph Media Group
Lord black has spent his career in the politics and in the media, dealing in particular with regulatory and policy issues. A former Director of the Press Complaints Commission, he is a Director of the Advertising Standards Board of Finance (which funds the work of the ASA) and sits on the Advertising Association Council.
Guy has been a member of the House of Lords since 2010 – where he was the first openly gay Conservative Peer - and has championed a range of LGBT+ causes, including playing a leading role in the legislation for equal marriage.
Emma Harris
Senior Creative at Tribal DDB
Emma is a Senior Creative at Tribal DDB. Starting her career as an apprentice, she has since been recognised as one of Google Squared’s ‘Future Industry Leaders’ and was highly commended at this year’s The Drum Chip Shop Awards for her Burger King Parody creative.
Her proudest work to date is the UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group campaign ‘Lend Your Voice’, facilitated by Omnicom’s 2019 ‘OPEN Pride’ initiative.
Edward Green
Managing Director, Burson Cohn & Wolfe
Edward is the Managing Director of the Consumer Brand practice in the UK and throughout EMEA and is adept at conceputalising creative brand campaigns with tech at the heart, amplified via tactics in sync with many markets.
He is also experienced at driving fully integrated marketing programmes; including strategy, creative, branding, consumer, crisis and corporate communications, events and experiential, digital, social and content marketing.
